Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Route & Ride, operated by Help Me Succeed Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Route & Ride is a route planning and navigation app for outdoor adventures on mixed terrain (road and trail). The free tier offers route planning, GPX import, and editing. The paid tier ("Route & Ride Pro") additionally offers turn-by-turn navigation, GPX export, and a higher saved-route limit.
2. Safety — please read this carefully
Route & Ride displays suggested routes. It does not choose your route for you, and it is not responsible for your decision to follow one.
Every route you navigate is either one you built yourself (by placing waypoints) or one you imported (a GPX file you chose to bring in). The app's role is to display that route, calculate a suggested line between the points you or your file provided, and help you follow it if you choose to. The decision to ride any given path — including whether it's safe, legal, and passable — is yours alone, made in the moment, using your own eyes and judgement.
- The app does not know real-time trail conditions, closures, weather, surface changes, private land boundaries, or legal access restrictions. A route being displayed or suggested is not a representation that it is safe, legal, or passable.
- Always prioritise what you can see and assess yourself — the road or trail in front of you, traffic, weather, terrain, and your own ability — over anything the app displays. If what you see doesn't match what's suggested, trust what you see.
- Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you from safely operating your vehicle. Mount your device securely and use voice guidance where possible.
- Riding on- and off-road carries inherent risk. Use appropriate protective equipment and ride within your ability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from a decision to follow, or deviate from, a route displayed in the app. The app suggests; you decide. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (see Section 9).
3. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Route & Ride.
4. Subscriptions (Route & Ride Pro)
- Pricing: £1.99/month or £19.99/year (billed in advance).
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- How to cancel: via your account section in the app, via your account on our website, or via the App Store/Google Play subscription management if you purchased there.
- Refunds: purchases made via the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to those platforms' own refund policies. Purchases made via our website may be refunded at our discretion — contact support@routeandride.co.uk.
- Prices may change; we'll give you notice before any change affects your subscription.
5. Referral programme
If you share a referral link and someone signs up and subscribes using it, both accounts receive one free month, subject to our anti-abuse rules (no self-referral, reasonable usage limits). We may withhold or reverse rewards obtained fraudulently.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Route & Ride to: break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or abuse the referral or free-tier systems.
7. Your content
Routes and GPX files you create or import remain yours — you choose your waypoints, you choose which GPX files to import, and you choose which suggested route (if any) to ride. By saving a route, you grant us the licence needed to store and display it back to you within the app. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any GPX data you import, and for your own decision to ride any route you plan, import, or follow.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and limit our liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
